Although always making art, it wasn't until my senior year of high school that I came to the realization that I could, and would, pursue a career in the graphic arts. Two years later, diploma from MacEwan College in hand, I jumped into the professional world as a 'Graphic Designer.'
Twenty years on and countless local, national and international clients/projects later, I'm now Creative Director at g[squared], recently retired Sessional Instructor at MacEwan University (wow that makes me sound old), and freshly minted, Freelance Illustrator-extraordinaire (ish). Take that certain grade four teacher who said, "Terry should spend less time drawing and more time on actual work." I think drawing worked out... ;-)
This latest trek is but a few years old yet a lifetime in the making – super excited to see where the trail leads. If my illustration style connects with you and it fits with a campaign you're running, an editorial you're featuring or you think it would make for a prized, personal commission, let's chat – I'd love to get to know you and learn more about your project.
